Robert Arlen Hotz has undertaken broad clinical training, including work with children and forensic populations. At the Landstrom Center, Robert Arlen Hotz received training in neuropsychological assessment, from clinical intakes and test administration to scoring, interpretation, report writing, and feedback. He later gained experience preparing competency evaluation reports for courts at the New Mexico Center for Forensic Psychology.
In 2024, Robert Arlen Hotz joined Rush Neurobehavioral Center, where he completed an advanced practicum that included one day of testing, one scoring session, one report-writing session, and a half-day of supervision and didactics per week. Earlier in his career, Robert Hotz provided individual psychotherapy to clients at Guada Psychological Services and at Saint Sabina Academy, where he saw patients ranging from four to eight years old. He has further volunteered as a crisis counselor with Crisis Text Line and worked with older adults through Greenwich House.
Robert Arlen Hotz, a clinical psychology doctoral candidate whose experience includes neuropsychological assessment, psychotherapy, and forensic psychology, earned his BA in psychology from New York University. He made the Dean’s List at NYU and is a merit scholar at The Chicago School. He has additional training in psychoanalysis, hypnosis, and clinical suicidology.
